When Aislyn was three years old, the Regraves moved in next door, with them was a six year old boy with silver hair. Entranced with the hair, Syn approached him, and claimed him as her best friend. That six year old boy was Dante Sparda (then called Tony Redgrave). The two soon became inseparable. Even if they had a three year age difference, the two got along and remained best friends, both finding something in each other.

A year after they met, her grandfather took it upon himself to train both Dante and her in all forms of martial arts, it was training that they loved and excelled in. They trained for years, both of them getting better and better. She always wondered why Dante trained separately from her, but didn't find out the reason until just recently.

When she was fifteen years old Dante disappeared for a few years. She worried over him and was frustrated by his disappearance, but threw that frustration into her training, having faith that he'd find his way back to her again.

One night, she couldn't sleep and was sitting on the roof of her house watching the stars when she heard the sounds of a fight. She looked down to the ground to see Dante taking out a low level devil.

Ecstatic to have her best friend back, she jumped from the roof and ran to greet him. It was then that he told her about his past. So glad to have him back, she forgave him for leaving and swore to be by his side no matter what.

A few years after that, Dante got word of something going down and worried for Syn, sent her to her grandfather's. It was during this time that Tiemen Ni Gru happened. By the time she returned, it was already over.

She became Dante's partner in Devil May Cry, watching over the office and occasionally going on devil hunts.

One night, they were out partying and Dante got so drunk that he couldn't say Aislyn's name correctly, instead shortening it to "Syn". It was a name that stuck. She had no idea that it was indeed her true name.

A few years later, Trish burst into Devil May Cry and fought Dante, then told him of Mundus. Dante followed Trish to Mallet Island while Syn stayed home and had the office rebuilt into a compound type structure.

Shortly after Dante's return, Syn discovered a new door in the compound. That door lead to the Nexus, a multiversal hub. She explored it and discovered the truth of Tiemen Ni Gru from a Nevan she had met, when she returned home, an angry fight broke out that nearly tore the two friends apart.

They forgave one another and more adventures in the Nexus were had. Syn slowly started to realize that the bond she had with Dante wasn't as she had been thinking but was indeed a bond of familial love.

Syn and Dante have been through a lot, Dante went to hell and was away several months before returning with Vergil in tow. Syn met the love of her life, coincidently an alternate of Dante.

It wasn't until her twenty-eighth birthday that she learned the truth about her past. Her family were all either full devil or half devil. Her grandfather told her of her past, and began to train her with her devil abilities.

She's come into her own power, and has triggered for the first time. Nowadays she's busy helping to fight an unknown enemy and planning on how to take out the Order.



Syn in her travels came across a man that had a pet queen firelizard that had just had a clutch, she received one of the eggs, which hatched into a blue firelizard that she named Charon. She also has three dogs, (Rottwelier and wolf crossbreeds) named Apollo, Zeus, and Ares. And due to an LOL she now has a daemon, a black leopard named Alfric.
